Model 212IC Invisible Closer Hinge

The SOSS® Invisible Closer hinge gives you a door closer that is totally invisible from either side when the door is closed. The closure rate is completely adjustable with an allen wrench after installation, and does not require removal of the hinge. Installation can be either inside the door itself or inside the door jamb. The SOSS® Invisible Closer Hinge model #212IC is ideally suited for most types of doors that are 1-1/8″ thick. This closer hinge is made of zinc and steel materials. This hinge opens a full 180° and is a single action hinge.

Overview

The SOSS Invisible Closer hinge model #212IC can be used with or without the SOSS Hinge model #212 hinge to provide invisible automatic closing  for your door.  Allow one #212IC invisible closer for every 28 lbs. of door weight or portion thereof. The total number of hinges and closer hinges needed can be calculated using our hinge calculator or our hinge sizing chart.

Recommended spacing for use of one spring closer is half of the distance from the center line of the door to the center line of the top hinge.
